Civil Rights

I will seek to codify protections for voting rights and access to voter registration.

I will seek to codify protections for a woman's right to choose and an individuals right to marry whom they choose.

Education

I will seek to throroughly improve the public school system.

I will seek to improve access to private schooling for those who want or need it.

Healthcare

I will seek to make sure our healthcare system can support the needs of a growing and aging population.

I will seek to make sure healthcare is affordable and accessible to everyone.

Fiscal Responsibility

I will seek to make sure that the government is earning more than it is spending.

I will seek to have transparency in spending and institute smart budget practice.

I will seek to make sure that the burden of taxes are put to a minimum on citizens and businesses to allow for more economic stimulation.

Homelessness and Addiction

I will seek to reduce homelessness in our communities.

I will seek to make sure our young and older communities have access to addiction treatment.

Power and Data Centers

I will seek to fix the electrical grid problem in the state and work toward renewable energy options in parts of the state that want and need it.

I will seek to ensure that Data Centers are abiding by constraints in relation to environmental concerns and abusive electricity consumption practices.

Local Concerns

I do not want to see my hometown and the place I grew up change with the dramatic fashion of the times. I believe that it is imperative to conserve the ambiance of Hockessin and the surrounding areas in a way that promotes the diversity and prosperity of the community, so that it can be enjoyed by future generations. Growing up in this community provided a childhood that was unparalleled and I hope to mimic that experience for our young and allow the aging community to rest easy knowing their representative truly has their interests in mind.

Some Questions I've been asked so far...

Why are you running for state representative?

I am running for state representative because I believe in a better future. The local and state community has room for improvement, and I believe it is the duty of every public official to work tirelessly to realize perfection in public service.

Why do you think you are better than the incumbent?

The incumbent has been our representative for eight years, but many argue he does not represent the majority of the district’s population; he has ignored the voices of many in the community and would seek to further the agenda of a select few. I believe I am the better suited candidate to work alongside other politicians.

What are state representatives responsible for?

They are responsible for representing the district in the state’s lower house of the General Assembly. This includes creating and voting on laws to the Delaware Code and amendments to the constitution, working on committees to best serve the people of Delaware, and helping to create and pass the annual budget for the state.

What experience do you have that would make you a good candidate for state representative?

I have lived in the district since moving to Delaware in adolescence and know the community better than most. I have travelled up and down the state diligently for my career, working with businesses large and small and observing the needs and wants of the various counties and towns.

What makes you a good fit for public office?

Being transparent and friendly are hallmarks of my personality, and I know how to cooperate with other individuals to further progress community engagement while also being able to communicate effectively strong stances on important issues.

Why are you running as a Democrat?

I have been a registered Democrat my entire life, and the party has played a prominent role in my endeavors. I believe it is the party with the better moral and ethical perception to lead not only local and state politics but political spheres at the highest level as well.

What will you do for registered Republicans and Independents?

I’m aware of the intensity of party lines and political debate in the modern era and understand that partisan arguing stems from more similarities than differences. All voters want a better future for their community, and all the parties share an idea of creating a better world. I will work across party lines to provide the most positive outcome.
